Expedia now accepting Bitcoins 2

Expedia are now accepting Bitcoins as a form of payment for hotel bookings. This trial is taking place initially for the U.S based site only. Hopefully we will see this introduced on the UK based Expedia site over the next few months. This is yet another big corporate who are supporting Bitcoin. Perhaps we will see Litecoin accepted in the not too distant future.

Great news for the future of Cryptocurrency.

This is great news! Once more businesses realize that bitcoin has lower fees than credit cards, and no charge backs things will really pick up. Most still have a negative view thanks to silk road and the media spinning bitcoin as something bad in general.

I heard a lot of users had issues with the confirmation! Many of the users actually had to contact support to get it resolved because their transactions took too long to confirm.

I am not too sure if they addressed the issue or let zero confirmations go into the system.
